One place for your whole family's immigration datesH-1B, H-4, H-4 EAD and everything in between
I've worked in U.S. business immigration for more than 15 years, and the date that slips is almost never the H-1B. It's the spouse's.
The H-1B gets the attention, the premium processing and the reminders. The H-4 and the H-4 EAD ride along, and nobody is watching them as closely. So I built Connect by InHouse Core to watch all of them, for everyone in your family.

Why the H-4 side slips
Your family's dates are connected, but they don't move together. Here's where I see families get caught.
You can't pay to speed it up
Premium processing is available for the H-1B petition, but not for the H-4 or the H-4 EAD.
Filed together doesn't mean decided together
Even when your spouse's H-4 and H-4 EAD are filed with your H-1B, USCIS isn't required to decide them at the same time.
No more automatic extension
H-4 EAD renewals filed on or after October 30, 2025 don't get an automatic extension. If the new card isn't approved before the old one expires, your spouse has to stop working until it is.
The dates don't always match
Your I-94 date can be different from the dates on your approval notice. When your whole family's dates are in one place, a mismatch is much easier to spot.
How Connect by InHouse Core keeps your family on track
Upload your documents once
Connect reads your I-797 approval notices and EADs and pulls out the dates for you.
Add your family
The Family plan covers you plus 3 family members. Need more? Add them for $0.50/month each.
Get reminded before anything comes up
You'll get a dashboard notification, plus an email or text if you've opted in.
Why not a spreadsheet, a shared folder or your employer's portal?
A spreadsheet
It only knows what you type into it, and it never reminds you of anything.
A shared Drive folder
It stores your documents, but it can't tell you which date comes first or what needs your attention next.
Your employer's portal
It tracks the case your employer files. When you change jobs, your access can go with it. Connect stays with you.

Frequently asked questions
Does premium processing on my H-1B cover my spouse's H-4?
No. Premium processing is available for the H-1B petition (Form I-129), but not for the H-4 (Form I-539) or the H-4 EAD (Form I-765). Even when they're filed together, USCIS isn't required to decide them together.
Do H-4 EADs still get an automatic extension?
Not for renewals filed on or after October 30, 2025. If the renewal isn't approved before the current card expires, your spouse has to stop working until it is. Talk to your attorney about when to file.
What does the Family plan cover?
You plus 3 family members. You can add more for $0.50/month each ($4.80/year on annual plans).
Does this replace my attorney?
No. Connect by InHouse Core helps you stay organized and see what's coming. It doesn't give legal advice. If you need an attorney, we can connect you with one in our trusted network.
